*DESCRIPTION: This signed necklace is a rare wonder created by top-shelf costume jewelry manufacture, Cadoro.
The piece has an Egyptian Revival-Art Deco feel.
The star of the show is that HUGE, chunky front-&-center Bakelite (tested) disc.
This is the largest piece of Bakelite I’ve seen used in jewelry.
At >30 gms, the massive End-of-the-Day BUTTERSCOTCH disk is ~1/4” thick & 2” wide!
It is suspended on two gold tone jump rings, suspended on one large jump ring suspended on one jump ring.
The pendant drop is suspended on a “U” shaped high polish tube finished with two black plastic balls.
From gold tone curb chain the pendant hangs.
Big, bold, & statement-making piece.
