The pin is created from gold tone metal bathed in black enameling (Japanning).
Its body & face have a diamond cut/checkered pattern.
Its mane is etched & dimensional.
A black crystal is set representing its eye.
Its animated mouth is holding onto a ring holding its tail.
This big, bold pin has a substantial weight of ~45 gms.
One for the ages.
