LISTING: I am thrilled to offer a hard-to-find VARGAS signed bangle with lovely ART NOUVEAU inspired design & impressive presence.
The piece features TEN Flowers (peony?) stacked one on top of the other in REPOUSSE (reverse hammering) technique.
Japanning (black enamel) against the seriously rich gold tone repousse metal makes the flowers pop!
This clamper is made in two layers with the repousse pieces soldered onto a sleek, high polished, golden tone interior piece.
The tongue-in-groove closure snaps tightly.
A safety chain is a nice finishing touch.
