This necklace always has intrigued & stumped me.
From what material are these lovely beads made? Lucite or Glass?
(They don't test as Bakelite.)
What I know is the beads are HUGE & a beautiful orange tone.
They are completely translucent.
They are strung on cotton string.
The barrel bead/invisible clasp is made from the same material.
It looks old & has some scratches but overall is in very good condition.
Length: ~19-1/2"
Wt.: ~92 gms.
Bead count: 23 plus barrel closure
Largest bead, ~24 mm; smallest bead, ~16 mm
Condition: very good vintage condition. I notice some superficial scratches & a few tiny flea bites.
