Description: This is a terrific "Shades of Olive Green" genuine Bakelite bangles.
The lot consists of two "Cog Wheels," a tube shaped, carved "Starburst," & a lovely carved Asian-Inspired bangle.
Cog wheels are a personal favorite because they stack well and have an Art-Deco-meets-mid-century feel.
The two cogs are lighter in tone than the two carved pieces.
I notice that they take on a different tone depending on the lightening include chartreuse.
Their interiors have that blue-meets-green turquoise coloring.
They set off the carved pieces well.
The modified tube saucer bangle has three deeply carved "Star burst" design.
It has a deep olive to military drab green color.
The fourth, and my personal favorite, is a slice cut (interior & exterior thickness is ~ the same) bangle.
I collect this particular design.
The delicate leaves & branches make me think of a cherry blossom design & the reason I call it "Asian Inspired."
This foursome is perfect for anyone who loves shades of green and/or carved bangles.
They work well together & can be mixed/matched with other pieces in your jewelry wardrobe.
