*DESCRIPTION: To study this piece, is to appreciate it.
This chunky panel bracelet features 15 pieces of carved, overdyed green *Bakelite.
There is yellow marbling.
The five panels & their ties are held together by heavy gauge pins.
Each link is slightly domed from a more comfortable fit.
The last panel's reverse is carved to fit snugly into the bar clasp at the other end.
This gives a hidden-closure appearance.
The green color is outstanding! Beautiful piece!
Art Deco meets Industrial Age.
*Please Note: On account this is an overdyed piece, authenticating Bakelite was done through the sound ("clack") & hot water-smell tests, as well as taking into consideration the solid weight of the piece.
